Information collected
HobbyRank receives the promotion information you submit, including a title, seller or shop name, destination link, category, description, optional timing and image URL, and bid amount. The service also records outbound promotion clicks and ordinary technical information such as timestamps, request data, and security logs.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. HobbyRank receives transaction status, amount, identifiers, and related metadata needed to update rankings and address disputes, but does not receive or store full payment-card numbers. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy terms.
How information is used
- To publish this week’s promotions, calculate weekly rankings, and count outbound clicks.
- To process and reconcile paid placements.
- To prevent fraud, enforce rules, secure the service, and respond to legal obligations.
- To understand and improve HobbyRank’s performance.
Disclosure and retention
Public promotion fields, weekly rankings, bid totals, and click totals are visible to visitors. Prior promotions may leave the public board at the weekly reset while remaining in business, payment, security, or compliance records. Information may be shared with service providers that help operate HobbyRank, with authorities when legally required, or in connection with a business transfer. Records are retained for as long as reasonably needed for operations, accounting, disputes, security, and legal compliance.
Your choices
A listing owner may request correction or removal through any support channel published by HobbyRank. Removal from public display does not necessarily require deletion of transaction, security, or legal records.
Children and updates
HobbyRank is not directed to children under 13. This notice may be updated as the service changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
